What the Service Call Covers
The quoted diagnostic fee covers the trip to your home and a full diagnosis of the appliance in question. Our technician inspects the unit, runs the relevant tests, and identifies the fault. On built-in refrigeration that can mean checking the sealed system, evaporator, condenser, and control logic; on a range or wall oven it can mean testing igniters, elements, sensors, and the control board. You then receive a written estimate for the repair.
Diagnostic and travel fees, if applicable, are confirmed before the appointment and before repair approval. If you decide not to proceed, the service call is all you owe for the visit. There are no diagnostic tiers, no trip surcharges for the mountain corridor, and no weekend premium.
How Repair Pricing Works
Every repair is quoted after diagnosis because the right number depends on the part, the model, and the labor involved. A door gasket on a Sub-Zero column is a different job from a compressor or a control board, and we price each honestly rather than quoting a vague range up front. What stays constant is the process: you see the written estimate first, and nothing is ordered or installed until you say yes.
